The Tea House is just a shell now, but in the day the elite traveled there for High Tea dahling.

A tree with a large fire scar on the road up to Fallen Leaf Lake.... which we could not complete. We turned around about 5 miles short of our targeted destination.
The consolation prize was riding by the Ponderosa Ranch! There's Pepe parked by Ponderosa Ranch Road.
Another road block! The Ponderosa Ranch property is private now, and the general public is no longer invited. We could see some of the TV Set buildings up above that remain. Can you see them?
Gari is pointing out one of the small buildings in the picture below. Not much to see here folks, move along now.

We sure did enjoy the sightseeing around Lake Tahoe!
