One Week of Framing at Eagle View

We have waited weeks for things to get going at Eagle View, and now everything seems to be happening all at once.  No complaints from us!

Framing is going up fast now.

Gari searches for stray nails at the end of another day.
Below a shot of the front of the Shop with two 12'W x 14'H overhead door openings.
Wall girts going in.
The Sky Lift is onsite today; double top plates going in.
Steve stands back and looks at the big picture.
First California Header goes over the front O/H door opening.  Checking the level below.
Second California Header goes in.  You can see the "L" end of that beam in this shot below.  No load is on this member so it is constructed out of dimensional lumber and does not require a laminated beam.
More wall blocking going in below.  These blocks will pick up the seams of the OSB wall sheathing.
The backhoe showed up on site again.  We are still hopeful to see the drain field go in this week.
Gari observes progress from a safe and restful seat.
Building up trusses below.  This is layer two of three.
Lining up the third truss below.  Once carefully aligned screws and nails will be added.
End of the week progress.  Double top plates completed.  A little more wall blocking to install.  Roof truss assembly inside Shop is completed and the assembly to the east of the Shop has more work to go.  Plan is to have the crane on site Tuesday to lift the roof assemblies onto the top plates.  Wall sheathing will also start early next week.  That is the plan today.
