Wine Ridge Living

We arrived safely in Pahrump, NV this week.  It was an uneventful trip.  Our preparations and planning went smoothly and so did the trip.  No problems, we like that.  Of course occasionally we have to travel through a few larger cities, and this trip it was south Las Vegas.  There was lots of traffic. lots of lanes, and several spaghetti junctions, but Gari pulled right through without a blink of her eye, and I didn't give her any incorrect directions 😎 A very good day!

Below was the first night sunset at Wine Ridge RV Park.  Nice sundog frame right.

From Parker, AZ we kept to the secondary roads, we like that, and traveled up Rt 95 through Needles, California and into Nevada at Searchlight, NV.  We started to see some features 40 miles or so from the Nevada state line.  And these were the first features below.  The landscape had been pretty boring up until then.  Rt 95 undulated much of the way through the remote areas.

Larger landscape features, ahhhhh.
We started to see some Yucca.
Soon we saw many Joshua trees.  They always look like men standing out in the desert waving their arms.  Although we saw many, this is one of the few photos we captured of them.  I see a couple, along with the Yuccas, in that shot below.

Wine Ridge RV Park seems fancy to us.  It is the first time we have stayed here.  They have obviously worked hard to decorate and keep up the grounds.  Out front of the gate was this old wine dump truck.  Never seen a truck dump wine before, but bring it on!  I guess it is for the grapes, but they have two wine barrels back there now.

This is the office clubhouse and winery building below.  We checked in there.
They had sidewalks out to the vineyard areas, complete with atmosphere decorations.
Even fancy bronze castings and a peaceful bench.  We can get used to this.

Gari parked us on the dime as usual.  The spot is not much, but it's ours 🤩

Gari has the coof.  Steve gave it to her.  Steve doesn't know where he got it, but it started in Parker, AZ.  After 1 week Steve is about over it, and now it's Gari's turn.  It was a fairly mild, strange but mild, cold.  It felt good to get out in the sunshine so we got his picture from the back of the park on one of our short walks.
