An Update to the Quartzite Rock & Mineral Show
We returned to Quartzite (Q) to get the turquoise stone replaced in my wedding band. We had left a stone that Nadine the mobile jeweler from Elephant Butte was shaping over the last couple of weeeks for us. The short story is that Nadine did a great job for us at a terrific price and we are extremely grateful. Nadine even buffed out scratches I had in my ring and reshaped the roundness for me. This visit we took several more pictures in an attempt to capture the unique Q atmosphere

This place was a ringer... they had stalagtite looking rocks with signs saying "not from caves" and we could see China stickers on them. This vendor was parked next to the dumper, just sayin'...
