Wilson Arch

On our way up to Moab from Bluff, Utah we stopped to check out Wilson Arch.  It is a sandstone arch on highway 191.  It's a pretty large arch with a span of 91 feet and height of 46 feet.  Since it is right along the highway we were able to stop while pulling Penelope from Bluff to Moab, Utah.  This was the first arch that we saw in the Moab and Arches National Park area.

As a bit of a foreshadow, Gari caught a reflection of the Wilson Arch in Penelope's window.

We climbed up the hill to get a little closer look.  Gari hearts it!
 Steve at Wilson Arch.
Gari got even closer.  It was getting steep and slippery.  Gari kind of looks like Steve as she is wearing Steve's jacket!

Onward to Moab!
