The Meadows

We are among the luckiest couple in the world!  Our dear friends made us an offer we could not refuse.  That was to park our RV on their in-town farm.  Now Trails End Resort had everything we needed, but we have moved right to heaven in our our new spot with our friends, that we have affectionately named The Meadows.  The farm is about 35 acres mostly in pasture and surrounded by a nice sized woodland and a municipal baseball park to the east.  It is very quiet here at The Meadows compared to Trails End.  We have two does (doe a deer, a female deer...) and two fawns that visit us every morning for breakfast and every evening for dinner.  We have a squirrel that lives part time in the pine tree behind our RV.  we will be naming these furries as we customarily do.  I think the lead doe has the label Esmarelda attached to her for now.

Our friends have considerable, beautiful and useful landscaping.  We were invited to pick all the ever-bearing strawberries we wanted.  There are raspberries and blueberries coming on too.  We were able to participate in the planting of their garden which is starting to bear tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and various flowers.  We have been getting a lot of rain so far this summer so all of the plants are doing very well.  Until the next time, we will be enjoying life in The Meadows!
